Our favorite photos of March!

Our month in Tucson went by SO FAST! There is so much to do here, we didn't have time to do nearly enough of it.  We've put Tucson on our list of places to return to.  Here are some of our favorite photos from the month!

Ocotillo was in full bloom during our stay.

Saguaro National Park - the cactus forest!

Madera Canyon - Old Baldy Saddle.

Cactus Garden at the University of Arizona.

Curt and his Mom, Laura. We got to see lots of familiar faces in Tucson! Curt's parents visited, we met up with our friends' parents who have given us tons of travel tips and we did some hiking with a friend from Seattle! Small world!

We spent a lot of time at Sabino Canyon.

We visited BioSphere2 and toured lots of different biomes all under one roof!

Tucson was especially fun because we got to enjoy the city as much as the mountains!

We learned  A LOT about the saguaro cactus!

San Xavier Mission.   This Catholic mission is more than 300 years old and still in operation on the Tohono O'odham Indian reservation.

We participated in the nighttime observation program at Kitt Peak! They discovered dark matter in the telescope at right!
